De Avondwinkel is best explained as a dingy neon adorned Asian specialities nightshop transformed into an vibrant dance event.
For this project we set out to capture the loveable wonkiness of cheap neon signage and the grime of a back alley shop in an authentic manner. We achieved this sincerity by working with translators and scouting out real local signage.
